泉州提线木偶戏
Quanzhou Puppets
木偶戏，古称“傀儡戏”或“窟垒子”、“魁榀子”等，指的是由人操弄傀儡（偶形）搬演故事的特殊戏曲形式。民间俗称“嘉礼”，是流行于闽南语系地区的古老珍稀戏种，数百年形成了一套稳定而完整的演出规制和700余出传统剧目。在全国各类木偶戏中，泉州提线木偶戏又是唯一仍有自己剧种音乐“傀儡调”的戏种。泉州提线木偶形象，一般都系有16条以上，甚至多达30余条纤细悬丝，操弄复杂，与我国多数传统木偶戏相比，技巧表演难度最高。泉州提线木偶形象结构完整，制作精美，尤其是木偶头的雕刻独具匠心，轮廓清晰，线条洗练，继承了唐宋雕刻和绘画风格，乃驰名中外的民间工艺珍品。
Quanzhou Puppets, which has preserved abundant traditional crafts and perfect performance skills, is a kind of drama widely performed in Quanzhou, Fujian province. It is presented by exquisitely produced puppets which are controlled through threads and dubbed at the same time by actors hidden under the stage. With its extensive subjects, colorful contents, attractive plots and humorous lines, Quanzhou Puppets has brought about its own unique style. Being excellently carved and color-enameled, the puppets are highly qualified handicraft articles too.
