Chinese Summer Camp

Learning Chinese to understand Chinese culture and tasting Chinese cuisine are enjoyable. Every morning we have delicately arranged for the people who are interested in Chinese courses including Chinese cooking, martial arts, calligraphy and Chinese painting, and at noon we provide them with different Chinese food specialties. In the afternoon, we show people in and around Nanning to fully understand Chinese culture. As the saying goes, " Guilin 's mountains and waters rank first in China and Yangshuo's are the best in Guilin ". Therefore, we surely will make use of weekends to arrange people to go sightseeing in the mountains and enjoy the waters around Guilin as well as the attractions in Bei Hei, Wei zhou Dao Island. We will try our best to give them a fantastic and unforgettable Chinese summer camp.

Activity Center

The venues for our Chinese summer camp activities are mainly in Nanning , Guilin and Beihai of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Nanning is the capital city(Green City), famous for "evergreen metropolis", which served as host for annual China-ASEAN EXPO (CASEAN EXPO) in 2005 and as the venue for the 2006 "World Robotics Olympiad". In 2008, Nanning won the award for the best UN-Habitat. Guilin has the most beautiful scenery under heaven, which is South China 's shining pearl, with the most scenic mountains, elegant waters, magnificent caves and fantastic caverns. Beihai is a romantic coastal city, where you can feast on the beautiful scene of the sea, and rich in European history.

Calligraphy Class

In the Chinese tradition, calligraphy occupies a distinguished position that is separate from all other art forms. It is not only a means of communication, but also a meaning of expression of a person's inner world in an aesthetic sense. Learning calligraphy can improve a person's temperament and promote well being. We invite beginners to take part in a demonstration to learn the basics of the trade.

Chinese Cuisine

Chinese cuisine reflects the culture of Chinese traditional food. Compared with cooking styles of other countries around the world, there are many unique features. We provide the people with opportunities to taste different kinds of Chinese cuisine everyday, from the royal dishes (specially served for Chinese emperors in their palaces) to special snacks(such as Guilin Noodle) so that all people can fully enjoy the delicious Chinese cuisine in the short-term culturally homestay.

Cooking Class

We open hotel kitchens to students interested in learning how to make traditional Chinese dishes including vegetarian. The variety of vegetables, fruits and soy available in China makes being a vegetarian extremely easy (and delicious) here. As an advocate of environmental awareness our staff chooses to live a strictly vegetarian lifestyle. In addition to being able to enjoy their cooking efforts after the lesson, many students bring recipes back home to give their friends and family a "taste of China ".

Tourism

We show campers around Nanhu Park , People's Park, Wuxiang square(Five Elephant Square)…in Nanning to fully experience Chinese culture. As the saying goes, "Guilin's mountains and Yanshuo's waters rank first in China(many Chinese painting that you see in the west have these beautiful mountains in them) . Therefore, we surely will make use of the weekends to arrange campers to go sightseeing to the mountains and waters in and around Guilin as well as the attractions in Beihai.
