Presentation doesn’t Send Cloth
zhōu mò wǒ huí jiā wǎn le ，yī jìn mén 80 suì de nǎi nɑi
周 末 我 回 家 晚 了 ，一 进 门 80 岁 的 奶 奶
wèn wǒ ：“zěn me cái huí jiā ？”
问 我 ：“怎 么 才 回 家 ？”
wǒ shuō ：“wǒ qù cān jiā le yí gè fā bù huì 。”
我 说 ：“我 去 参 加 了 一 个 发 布 会 。”
nǎi nɑi shuō ：“fā de shén me bù ná lái wǒ kàn kàn ，wǒ
奶 奶 说 ：“发 的 什 么 布 拿 来 我 看 看 ，我
xiǎng zuò tiáo kù zi 。”
想 做 条 裤 子 。”
At the weekend I went home late. When I was stepping in, my eighty grandma
asked me: “ Why do you go home so late?”
I said: “I went to attend a presentation.”
Grandma said: “ let me see what kind of the cloth did you got. I want to make a
trousers.”
Can you catch it? There is an 布in this phrase 发布会. 布 means cloth and 发布会
means presentation. But there is no 布on 发布会. The grandma didn’t know that
we didn’t send cloth on presentation.So she asked to give her the cloth.
