How can I get to the university?

我怎么去大学？

MM找大学迷路了。遇见一位文质彬彬的教授。 
MM：请问，我怎样才能到大学去？
教授：只有努力读书，才可以上大学。

A young lady lost her way to university, fortunatly, she found a professor there. So she came up to him and asked:"excuse me, how can I get to the university?" The professor told her seriously:"you can be admitted to a university only after you make a great effort to your study".

Well, it is not the professor's fault actually. In chinese,"how can I get to the university" can do refer to the meaning of "how can I get into a university" or "how can I be admitted to a university". But yes, you could avoid this easy-to-be-misunderstood expression. When you want to ask the way to a university, let's say Beijing University, you can say so "请问，我怎么去北京大学？"or "请问，去北京大学怎么走？"
