There is / are (something + somewhere) 有
The usage of有(yǒu) 有(yǒu) with place words and / or time words in front, to mean something “exist” at a certain place or a certain time. The following NP is the existing “object” that occasionally can be placed before有(yǒu).
Examples: 1, My Chinese name and my English name are both on my business card. 名(míng) 片(piàn) 上(shàng) 有(yǒu) 我(wǒ) 的(de) 中(zhōng) 文(wén) 名(míng) 和(hé) 英(yīng) 文(wén) 名(míng) 。
2, There were many foreign guests in his home yesterday evening. 昨(zuó) 天(tiān) 晚(wǎn) 上(shàng) 他(tā) 家(jiā) 有(yǒu) 很(hěn) 多(duō) 外(wài) 国(guó) 客(kè) 人(rén) 。
3, There are still several chairs without the table in the room. 这(zhè) 个(gè) 房(fáng) 间(jiān) 里(lǐ) 椅(yǐ) 子(zi) 还(huán) 有(yǒu) 几(jǐ) 把(bǎ) ,可(kě) 是(shì) 桌(zhuō) 子(zi) 没(méi) 有(yǒu) 了(le) 。
4, There are many interesting places in China. 中(zhōng) 国(guó) 有(yǒu) 很(hěn) 多(duō) 好(hǎo) 玩(wán) 的(de) 地(dì) 方(fāng) 。
5, There may be ten teachers in that department. 那(nà) 个(gè) 部(bù) 门(mén) 大(dà) 约(yuē) 有(yǒu) 十(shí) 位(wèi) 老(lǎo) 师(shī) 。
