Plot Overview

   Lina assigned by the company from Hong Kong to Guangzhou, to know accountants Yu Xiaodong. After they fell in love, Xiaodong knelt down and propose marriage. Lina who no longer dreams about marriage, lives a sweet life. They two wanted to give their wedding banquet in Hong Kong. Lina resigned quickly and returned to Hong Kong for wedding arrangements.
   Xiao-Dong's younger brother Ridong who was the manager of Navigation Company in Hong Kong. He had his own house and called Lina sister-in-law. In order to save money, Lina lived with Ridong in stead of living in a hotel. Ridong was a person of cautious personality, while Lina was freely outspoken. Because of their different character, it often caused arguments. For example Lina enjoyed watching terrible movies at the middle of the night and shrieked. Ridong was afraid that she would disturb the neighbors. Gradually Lina and Ridong did not like each other in heart.
   Lina and Xiaodong chat family affairs, Xiaodong was a little bit angry and called his brother and told him how to live with his sister-in-law. Lina was embarrassed and tried to avoid more arguments. Besides, she was waiting for a chance to apologize to Ridong. Once a day Ridong helped his friend Aji to deal with his emotion problems and took his girlfriend—Aifei home. Lina misunderstood that she was the girlfriend of Ridong, which made Ridong embarrassed. To Ridong’s surprise Lina took good care of Aifei, which made Ridong spoke highly of her and found that she was still a well-meaning woman.

   What happened was a female secretary loved Xiaodong for eight years and gave him a sudden affection! After Xiaodong’s self-examination, he found that he was not a good husband! Under the strong criticize of his conscience, he made up his mind to break up with Lina peacefully.
   Ridong got the news soon and became very angry at his decision. He Forced Xiaodong to continue his wedding banquet in Hong Kong and follow man's responsibility. Meanwhile, Lina knowing nothing about the truth, was still lost herself in her dreams. Ridong had to help Xiaodong deceived Lina and is also very helpless.
   "Things that will happen can not be avoided." Xiaodong was determined to divorce and told Lina, waiting for Lina’s agreement to a divorce. Lina was in deep sorrow and stayed with Ridong. She dare not to face the trut. Ridong took good care of her day and night, which touched her and made her realized that she had better face the truth and broke up with Xiaodong to get another life. Lina finally signed the divorce papers, and got a divorce certificates...
   Ridong helped his brother with the aftermaths. On behalf of Xiaodong he went to Lina's family and friends to apologize, which made him feel wronged. But he still kept silent, which reflected his demeanor. Lina gradually felt that Ridong is a rare man ... They two continued to live together, although there is no love, but they lived like brother and sister, as friend, and mutually supported each other. Gradually, they two fell in love with each other. But Ridong insisted that they should still keep single. His reaction made Lina realized that she should go. A few days latter, she removed and made new friends.
   Four months latter, they met again in Guangzhou and went through an emotional barrier. In the end, they became a real concern to the hands of the other pair of Good Men, Good Women.

   丽娜被公司从香港委派到广州工作，认识了会计师于晓东。恋爱之后，晓东浪漫地求婚。已经没再梦想婚姻生活的丽娜，甜蜜幸福中生活着。 二人想在香港补摆喜酒，丽娜索性辞去工作，回香港安排半年后的喜酒。
  晓东的弟弟日东在香港任职航行公司地勤经理，有自己的住所，为了节俭，丽娜没有入住酒店，搬去和日东同住，睡在客房，日东称呼丽娜是嫂嫂。
  日东个性拘谨，很重礼貌，丽娜则自由率真，因为性格不同，引起生活上的矛盾风波。例如丽娜半夜在家看惊栗光影碟时的尖叫，日东就怕她打扰邻居…
   渐渐丽娜和日东就暗里不喜欢对方。
   丽娜和晓东闲聊家事，晓东大兴问罪之师，来电教训弟弟日东做人之道。丽娜深感尴尬，为了不想加添和日东的误会，在等候着补偿致歉的机会。
   正好一次日东为朋友阿基排解感情困扰，带了阿基的女朋友，爱菲回家教训，丽娜误以为是日东的要好女朋友，弄得日东哭笑不得。
   但是丽娜悉心安慰照料爱菲，使日东对丽娜添了好感，认定丽娜还是好心女子!
   晴天霹雳，晓东的心意乱了！
  事缘晓东的女秘书暗恋了晓东八年，突然示爱！晓东心猿意马，反省之后，发现自己不是一个好丈夫！强烈良心责备之下…晓东暗暗悔婚…决意和丽娜和平分手！
   日东先得消息，对晓东的行为深表愤怒，并逼着晓东完成香港喜酒，尽男人的责任。
   同时，丽娜又不知真相，仍然活在美梦之中。日东要助晓东瞒骗丽娜…也十分无奈难受。
  “要发生的事情避不了。”晓东还是决心离婚，并向丽娜告白之后，避走回深圳等候丽娜同意离婚。 
   丽娜如跌入深渊，留在日东家，无法面对，终日神不守舍…日东同情心起，日夕相伴，并且打动丽娜，与其忧愁苦恼，不如面对现实，和晓东分开，重新站起来。
   丽娜终于想通，便和晓东正式签了离婚书，办了离婚证…
日东还帮忙善后，代晓东向丽娜的家人和朋友致歉，受尽委屈，但是一声不吭，甚有风度。
   丽娜渐渐觉得日东是一个难得的好男人…二人继续一起生活，虽没有谈上恋爱，然而就像兄妹、就像知己，互相扶持着…
   渐渐，二人有了爱意，而且双方都是单身，其实绝对有牵手同行的权利。
但是日东为人拘执，不想做出后悔的事情，多次避退丽娜的暗示…丽娜渐渐知道，恋爱不必冲动，喜欢日东不代表要和他成双成对的。
   丽娜搬走了，重新交往，认识新朋友。
   缘份安排之下，四个月后，丽娜重投事业，并到了广州开会。会后，丽娜乘机往香港，就在机场柜位重遇上日东。
   几个月的思念牵挂…有抑压在心的话却没有激情爆发。二人回复了好知己的闲话家常，渡过了动情的关口，成为真正关心、寄托对方的一双好男好女。
   爱得起，就是要懂得爱自己，不为一时浪漫激情而再次伤痛。
