Promise(Chinese:无极 Pinyin: wú jí ) 2005
The Princess (played by Cecilia Cheung) is given the special attention by the Goddess who let her become the world's most beautiful princess from a poor child under the condition of being cursed by the fate: she can not gain true love unless the clock turns back, she died and was reborned. But a slave (Jang) who really loves her, at the cost of his own life, breaks the chain of her destiny with his extraordinary, almost the speed of light running. So she returns to the starting point of her life and gets the right to choose her own life. However, it’s not easy to receive true love and to be the Princess, she has to experiences a tremendous love wrestling among Beigong Wu Huan, the General Guangming and the slave Kunlun.
