Spoken Chinese Top 10

   There are a lot of things for Chinese learners to know to learn Chinese well, such as listening, speaking, reading and writing, while the Bravery to be confident in speaking Chinese is always more important than any others. Here are some Chinese words or sentences which are spoken most in daily life. By managing them, using them everyday, it will be certainly very helpful Chinese learners to gain more confidence in Chinese learning.

1. 你好nǐ hǎo! Hello! (Casual way, usually spoken to one who is around the same age or younger than the speaker)
您好nín hǎo! Hello! (Respectable way)
你们好nǐ men hǎo! Hello! (Plural form)
2. 早zǎo! Morning!
早上好zǎo shàng hǎo! Good morning!
3. 谢谢xiè xiè! Thanks!
谢谢你xiè xiè nǐ! Thank you!
谢谢您xiè xiè nín! Thank you! (Respectable way)
谢谢你们xiè xiè nǐ men! Thank you! (Plural form)
非常感谢fēi cháng gǎn xiè! Thank you very much!
4. 不客气bù kè qì! You're welcome!
5. 再见zài jiàn! Goodbye! (formal)
拜拜bài bài! Bye-bye! (informal)
明天见míng tiān jiàn! See you tomorrow! (informal)
6. 好久不见hǎo jiǔ bú jiàn! Long time no see!
7. 好hǎo! Good!
不好bù hǎo! Not good!
"好" and "不好" are very powerful Chinese words. You will realize this till you find you can almost show your views or opinions to anything in Chinese just by using these two words with "好" to show your agreement, approval or praise, while with "不好" to show your disagreement, disapproval or dislike.

9. 喂wèi－－　Used to answer a phone call or to check whether the connecting is good or not. This "喂－－" in Chinese is usually said a little longer in a rising tone as long as the phone call is answered.
10. 我爱你wǒ ài nǐ!
I love you! (Love is universal!)
