木卡姆 Muqam

        木卡姆是一个阿拉伯词，这个词拥有大量的解释，诸如位置、规则、旋律等等。事实上，木卡姆是一种音乐现象，存在于中亚、南亚、西亚和北非。木卡姆同样在中国的新疆地区流行，我们称其为维吾尔木卡姆。十二木卡姆包含了十二支套曲，是维吾尔木卡姆的代表。十二木卡姆是维吾尔民族智慧的结晶，她不仅仅是一种音乐现象，而且已经形成了一种民间文化形式，获得了她自身与社会的价值。联合国教科文组织将其列入为“世界口头与非物质文化遗产”。
正如我们所熟知的，维吾尔民族是一个热爱歌舞的民族，因而木卡姆是其生活中不可分割的一部分。麦西热普同样是一个阿拉伯词，意思是大型的娱乐场所。木卡姆经常在各种麦西热普上演出。

 Muqam is an Arabic word which has lots of explanations, such as position, rule, melody and so on. Muqam is actually a kind of music existing in central Asia, southern Asia, western Asia and northern Africa. Muqam is also popular in Xinjiang province and was named as Uighur Muqam。Twelve Muqam is the representative of Uighur Muqam which contains twelve pieces of divertimento。Twelve Muqam is a precious achievement of Uyghur. It is not purely a musical phenomenon but was developed as a phenomenon of folk culture and it gains its own and also the social value。United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has announced that Uighur Muqam is one of masterpieces of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
Uighur is a minority where local people like music and dance, and it is an integral part of Uighurs’ life. Maxrap is also an Arabic word which means a large scale of entertainment. Muqam is played during the Maxrap.
