母老虎

Tiger Lady

老王快要死了，临终前，他拉着他老婆的手，说道：老婆……我死后你一定要改嫁给老张。老王的妻子问为什么，老王说：因为咱俩是他作的媒，所以我要他领教母老虎的厉害……

Lao Wang is about to die. He grabbed his wife’s hand,said“promise me, you will marry Lao Zhang after I die.”His wife didn’t understand so Lao Wang continued“because he is our matchmaker, I want him to know the feeling of living with a tiger lady.”

Tiger lady is translated literally from Chinese word母老虎。母 means female, 老虎is tiger. ，母老虎means similar with dragon lady in English ,which refer to shrew. Apparently, Lao Wang’s wife doesn’t have a sweet temper as Lao Wang expects, so Lao Wang thinks he was played by Lao Zhang, now he is dying, he really hopes the matchmaker can know about how hard the life is after he married the female introduced by Lao Zhang, and let him exoerience it himself
