Children's Day(Er Tong Jie)
In August 1925, representatives from 54 countries gathered in Geneva, Switzerland, held a "Children's well-being of the International Conference", issued a Prevention of Cruelty to Children, a declaration to protect the welfare of children. The initiative of the International Association for the establishment of child well-being of children, anniversaries, the United Kingdom, the United States, Japan and other countries to respond positively, has established its own national Children's Day, the United Kingdom provide that the annual July 14 as Children's Day, May 1 the provisions of the United States for children section.

To pay tribute to Lidice village and all the world's children dead in the war against the murder and poison the children, and protect children's rights, in November 1949, the International Democratic Women's Federation board meeting held in Moscow, China and the representatives of anger exposed the imperialist reactionaries and all killing, poisoning of children crimes. In order to protect the world of children's right to survival, health and education, in order to improve children's lives, the Conference decided to June 1 each year as the International Children's Day.
