分数、百分数、倍数

Fractions, percentages and multiples

In a fraction, the bottom mark is read as “分之”。The denominator is read first, and then the numerator. For example,

3/4--------四分之三
6/25 ------二十五分之六
1/3--------三分之一
The percentage sign”%” is read as “百分之”。 For example,
6%-----百分之六
93%------百分之九十三

A multiples is composed of a number and the character “倍” , and is thus read as “Num+ 倍“。 For example,
开车最少比骑自行车快一倍。
8是4的两倍。
今年的学生是去年的三倍，去年是50歌学生，今年是多少？
