Many / Much / More 多多……
The usage of多(duō) 多(duō)…… 多(duō) can be reduplicated before certain verbs in some polite expressions to mean “as much as possible”. In general, adjective reduplication will add a vivid effect compared to those without them. Normally, the stress is put on the first adjective, and the reduplicated part is in a neutral tone.
Examples: 1, Please take good care of yourself as you are getting older. 您(nín) 年(nián) 纪(jì) 大(dà) 了(le) ,多(duō) 多(duō) 保(bǎo) 重(zhòng) 。
2, Please guide me as much as possible, since I don’t have much experience. 我(wǒ) 没(méi) 有(yǒu) 什(shén) 么(me) 经(jīng) 验(yàn) ,请(qǐng) 多(duō) 多(duō) 指(zhǐ) 教(jiào) 。
3, To do my job, I need as much help as you can give me. 工(gōng) 作(zuò) 中(zhōng) 请(qǐng) 多(duō) 多(duō) 帮(bāng) 助(zhù) 。
