Exclamation 吧(bā)
The usage of 吧(bā):
1, 吧(bā) can be used at the end of a sentence to soften a request.
Examples:
（1） Please come in!
请(qǐng) 进(jìn) 来(lái) 吧(bɑ) ！
（2） Let’s go home!
我(wǒ) 们(men) 回(huí) 家(jiā) 吧(bɑ) ！
（3） Let’s go to China!
我(wǒ) 们(men) 去(qù) 中(zhōng) 国(guó) 吧(bɑ) ！
2, 吧(bā) can be added to the end of a statement to form a question implying surmise of supposition.
Examples:
(1) You wrote this character wrong, didn’t you?
这(zhè) 个(gè) 字(zì) 你(nǐ) 写(xiě) 错(cuò) 了(le) 吧(bɑ) ？
(2) You know Mr., Li, don’t you?
你(nǐ) 认(rèn) 识(shi) 李(lǐ) 先(xiān) 生(shēng) 吧(bɑ) ？
(3) You have taken your visa and passport with you, haven’t you?
你(nǐ) 的(de) 签(qiān) 证(zhèng) 和(hé) 护(hù) 照(zhào) 带(dài) 了(le) 吧(bɑ) ？
