The usage of 吧(bā): 1, 吧(bā) can be used at the end of a sentence to soften a request. Examples: (1) Please come in! 请(qǐng) 进(jìn) 来(lái) 吧(bɑ) !
(2) Let’s go home! 我(wǒ) 们(men) 回(huí) 家(jiā) 吧(bɑ) !
(3) Let’s go to China! 我(wǒ) 们(men) 去(qù) 中(zhōng) 国(guó) 吧(bɑ) !
2, 吧(bā) can be added to the end of a statement to form a question implying surmise of supposition. Examples: (1) You wrote this character wrong, didn’t you? 这(zhè) 个(gè) 字(zì) 你(nǐ) 写(xiě) 错(cuò) 了(le) 吧(bɑ) ?
(2) You know Mr., Li, don’t you? 你(nǐ) 认(rèn) 识(shi) 李(lǐ) 先(xiān) 生(shēng) 吧(bɑ) ?
