Maintain Huangshan 黄山
 Located in the southern part of Anhui Province, China, Mountain Huangshan is 40 km long in north-southern direction, and about 30km wide in east-west direction. It covers an area of 1,200 square kilometers, and the 154 square kilometers in the scenic area is the essence part of Mountain Huangshan, which is located in the sub-tropic monsoon climate area with abundant clouds, fog, humidity and rainfall. Mountain Huangshan is also in possession of rich the fourth period of geological time's glacier sites, water resources, animal and plant resources, so it is also the precious natural heritage with complete ecology.
Mountain Huangshan is the sole mountainous scenery site among the top ten scenic spots and places of interest in China. Integrated with the beautiful sceneries of all famous mountains in China, it is a miracle of the nature, famous for four wonders: strange pine trees, grotesque rocks, cloud sea, and hot spring. Strange pine trees here are the pine tree anamorphosis due to the unique landform and climate and they generally grow in the altitude more than 800m. Owing to the ragged physiognomy, Huangshan pine tree is unable to grow uprightly; with the wind and sunshine, most pine trees only grow branches in one side. The rocks in Mountain Huangshan get its name for its grotesqueness and there are more than 120 queer stones named by people. All kinds of grotesque stones surprise people a lot. The forming period of the grotesque stone in Mountain Huangshan was more than one million years ago and they got their names for different shapes seen in different angles. The clouds in Mountain Huangshan has always formed cloud sea ever since and Mountain Huangshan is  home of clouds and fog. The beautiful, wonderful, strange and illusory cloud sea is well known both at home and aboard and for the visitors’ appreciation all around the year. Especially winter is the best time to view the cloud sea. Apart from these, the hot spring here originates from the Ziyu Peak with an altitude 850m and its water mainly contains heavy carbonic acid suitable for drinking as well as bathing. The water is endless in the entire year. The hot spring keeps at the temperature 42 centi degrees, so it is the high mountain hot spring.
Furthermore, Mountain Huangshan is also a famous cultural mountain. Its great natural beauty deeply impresses and intoxicates numerous poets, painters and other artists. Their unrestrained creation passion left numerous art works. Moreover, Mountain Huangshan is also deeply related with China’s traditional religions and many names of the peaks come from the stories about immortals.
In 1990, UNESCO officially inscribed Mountain Huangshan on the list of “World Cultural and Natural Heritage”.
