用介词“比”表示比较(2)
Making comparisons by using the preposition “比”(2)
In addition to the adjectival and verbal phrases, one can also use the subject-predicate phrases to compare the differences between two things with regard to a certain aspect.
In the sentences expressing comparisons by using complement of state, “比 + N/Pr” can also be put after the verb and in front of the complement of state without any basic change in meaning. For example,
对面的那几位比我们抢得还热闹呢。(对面的那几位抢得比我还热闹呢。) 他比他朋友来得早。(他来得比他朋友早。) 张先生翻译唐诗比王先生翻译得好。(张先生翻译唐诗翻译得比王先生好。)
