“即使……，也……” the construction “即使……，也……”
      In this construction, meaning “even if : even though”, “即使” is used to suggest a supposed compromise, then closes with a conclusion unaffected by the initial supposition. “ 即使” is often used in conjunction with the adverb “也”, for example,
 
   即使明天下雨，我们也要去参观。
   即使自己有些想法，也得服从国家分配。
