尤其(Adv.) “especially” It has the similar meaning as 特别 when 特别 is used as an adverb. However, 尤其 is often used in the second part of the sentence to point out the special one among others in the same category. 尤其 can be followed by 是 sometimes to make a phrase.
Examples: 1. 王先生对人很友善,尤其是对弱者。 Mr. Wang is very friendly toward people, especially those who are weak in some way. 2. 我喜欢古董,尤其喜欢中国古董。 I like antiques, especially Chinese antiques.
