“about; with regard to” 关于( Prep.)

关于is used as a preposition that introduces the scope of an activity or subject. With the sense of “about” or “concerning”, it can be used in two ways:
(1) It is used to make an adverbial modifier.
Example:
1. 关于他的事，我不想再听了。
I don’t want t hear about him and his situation any more.
2. 关于中国的经济，她知道得很多。
She knows a lot about the Chinese economy.

(2) It is used to make a prepositional phrase modifying the object of a sentence. The particle 的is placed before the object it modifies.

3. 老师说了一个关于中国的故事。
The teacher told a story about China.
4. 这是一本冠以旅行的书。
This is a book about travelling.
